Webroot is designed with a user-friendly interface and is compatible with all the operating systems. However, at times, you might get an error while installing the application. There can be several reasons for getting this error. Irrespective of the reason, it becomes important to resolve webroot installation errors quickly. 

For resolving the webroot installation errors, you have to follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned below. Carefully follow each step and resolve the error in no time.  

• Make Sure You Have Entered A Correct Key Code

In case you are getting the error while installing the application, you first have to ensure that you have entered a correct keycode. Many a time, users get confused among the letters i/1, o/0, s/5, b/8. Hence, you must be very careful while entering the webroot keycode. To avoid the mistakes, Webroot suggests its users to copy-paste the keycode. 

• Remove The Previous Version Of Webroot

In case you have a previous version of Webroot installed on your system, then, you have to uninstall webroot for resolving the error. Having a previous version will block the installation of a new Webroot subscription. It hinders the installation process and shows you the installation error. 

For uninstallation, 

You have to click the Start button>Control Panel>Programs>Programs and Features. Then, right-click the Webroot application and click the “Uninstall” tab. 

Troubleshooting Steps To Fix The Following Errors

• Error Message- The keycode could not be verified at this time. Ensure that SecureAnywhere is allowed to connect to the Internet and try again. 

If Webroot is showing you this error, then, you first have to check your internet connection. Establish a strong internet connection for resolve webroot installation errors. At times, your internet is well connected and you are still getting this error message, then try to disable the firewall. The firewall may block the Webroot and affects the installation process. Hence, you must try disabling it. 

  In case you are still getting the error, then you must try restarting your window in a safe mode with networking. Along with this, you can also try resolving the error by installing the application with the administrator account.

• FZLC0055: This Keycode cannot be Used

Webroot shows this error in very rare cases. But if you are getting this error, then you should resolve the error by using the old-styled keycode. This old-styled keycode only has letters, no numbers. For finding your old-styled keycode, you have to follow the process mentioned below. 

1. First of all, sign in to your Webroot account. For this, you have to use the email address and password which are linked with your Webroot account. 
2. Then, from the upper-right corner, you have to tap the inverted triangle which is located beside your email address. Now, a drop-down menu will appear. Tap the “Manage Users” option from the list. 
3. Now, you will get your old-styled keycode. Further, try installing the application using the old-styled keycode.   

• FZLC0056: Invalid or Unknown Keycode

Delay in the activation process can be the reason behind this error. Hence, Webroot suggests you to wait for a few minutes to resolve this error. After waiting, you can try the installation process again.
